Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Velvet Line is operated by TODO — registered legal entity name (TODO — company number and jurisdiction), registered at TODO — street, TODO — city, postcode, TODO — country. In these Terms, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person using the service.

2. What the service is

Velvet Line provides real-time voice conversations with fictional characters generated by artificial intelligence. Every character is a computer program. No character is a real person, no human being reads or replies to your conversations, and any images produced during a call are generated by software and depict no real person.

The service is entertainment. It is not counselling, therapy, medical, legal or financial advice, and it must not be relied on as any of those. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.

3. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Velvet Line, and old enough under the law where you live to view sexually explicit material. By using the service you confirm that you meet both conditions. We ask for your date of birth, and where the law in your location requires it we may ask you to confirm your age by a further method before granting access. We may refuse or withdraw access in any territory whose requirements we do not meet.

Every fictional character depicted or described on this service is an adult over the age of 21. Content that sexualises minors is prohibited absolutely, cannot be requested, and any attempt to obtain it will result in immediate and permanent termination of your account and may be reported to the authorities.

4. Your account

One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
The information you give us — in particular your date of birth — must be accurate.
You may not share, sell or transfer your account or its credits.
You may close your account at any time by writing to support@example.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Velvet Line to:

request, generate or attempt to generate any depiction of a minor, or of any person who is not clearly an adult;
request or attempt to generate the likeness, voice or identity of a real, identifiable person, whether public or private, living or dead;
request content depicting non-consensual acts, coercion, or real violence;
record, capture, reproduce, resell or publicly distribute conversations, audio or images obtained from the service;
use automated means to access the service, resell access, or share your account with others;
attempt to bypass usage limits, credit accounting, age gating or payment.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section without notice and without refund.

6. Credits and subscriptions

Use of the service consumes credits. Each subscription plan grants a fixed number of credits on each successful payment. Credits are a licence to use the service, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Payments are processed by CCBill and appear on your statement as TODO — assigned by CCBill at onboarding. Cancellation, refunds and how to stop future charges are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We may change plan prices or credit allowances. A change never alters a payment already taken; it applies to purchases and renewals made after we publish it.

7. Content and intellectual property

The characters, the software and the site are ours or our licensors’. Output generated during your calls is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. We make no claim that generated output is unique to you, and identical or similar output may be produced for other users.

8. Availability and change

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw characters and features. If we withdraw the service entirely, we will provide a pro-rata refund of any unexpired subscription period.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

The service produces machine-generated output that may be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable. You use it at your own discretion.

10. Complaints and removal

If you believe content on this service is illegal, depicts you or another real person, or otherwise breaches these Terms, please use our Complaints & Content Removal process. Reports of non-consensual intimate imagery are actioned within 48 hours.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law or by our payment providers, or if we cease operating. Unused credits are forfeited on termination for breach.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of TODO — governing law, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
